About Us
The East Lawndale Civic Association began in 1971 and continues to remain an active organization dedicated and committed to preserving the beauty and character of our neighborhood for future generations.

Nestled in Houston's historic East End, East Lawndale is in close proximity to Brays Bayou and Mason Park, surrounded by natural beauty and serenity.

The East Lawndale Civic Association proudly serves the subdivisions of Forest Hill, Lawndale Estates, Marlo/Rainbow
Place, Mason Park Addition, and Mason Park Terrace. The boundaries of East Lawndale are: Brays Bayou to the north and to the west, Griggs Road to the south, and Coral St. to the east. Our neighborhood is surrounded by four of the largest green spaces in Houston: Villa Del Matel, Gus Worth Golf Course, Forest Park Cemetery, and Mason Park.
Our Civic Association meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm at Mason Park.
